Aiport Road: 'One Chance' Haven

Airport Road, Isolo-Lagos has been a torn in the flesh of many Lagosians. The other day a friend of mine who worked in Ikeja lost her phone and bag to the popular 'one chance' robbers on that route. Yours truly got ripped off all that was in my pocket early in the year. Unfortunately, mine was in a taxi (or so called kabukabu). The folks who stripped us appeared to be normal passengers who boarded the Cele bound taxi with us at 7-8 Bus Stop. At the end of the day, i had to beg to get to Hassan Bus Stop. And also to Ire-Akari. And then a longer work to Century Bus Stop in Ago.

The whole of Ire-Akari is home to petty thieves. The next time you are around be careful where you park. My friends bumper was ripped off. And I had to chase a thief around 2am who had ripped off the net, after jumping over the fence, just to steal a wristwatch.

Aswani presents its own prepositions. Traffic moments are dangerous times. You could be robbed right in the traffic.

It's a pity the Nigeria Police are not getting around to make this place safe.
