A Pulritzer's disrespect

Dele Olojede is a Pulritzer prize winner but is yet to conquer courtesy. In a live media chat with President Goodluck Jonathan, the Next publisher could afford to cross his legs to tell anyone who cares 'I've been on this stage before, so this does not scare me one bit. Infact anyone who didn't know Mr President could be forgiven if he thought mr Olojede was calling the shots in Aso Rock. Ride on sir, but be warned pride goeth before a ...

Tricia is not bold

Tricia Eseigbe is the host of the TV profile show bold faces. But she's not bold one bit. One she couldn't summon up enough courage to look into the camera. And couldn't do same to ward off a guy who came to disturb her mealtime at delta kitchen Surulere. Someone please tell Tricia to walk the talk

The rooftops of CMS

CMS is the acronym of one of Lagos oldest landmarks, the church missionary society. its rooftops speak of its age-old. They belly the body paint of its much admired walls and window treatment.

Who cares?

The plight of the 'irresponsible' seem not to border the four persons in the nearby phonecall umbrella. Afterall it was not their business to even tell the 'chief whip' custodian to tender justice with mercy. Maybe, just maybe, they have a vested interest in the boys' humilation on a Sunday evening by the road

Rainful stock taking

The rains came down hard on Monday, June 14 2010 in Lagos. And they ensured that commuters stayed indoors. For this keke marwa driver this wasn't a time to stay idle. And in the security of the downpour, he packs by the road to take stock of his sales before the 'rainfull' disruption

For Otedola's comfort

The Lagos traffic is not one that will catch Femi Otedola napping. No way. Not with this luxury boat 'parked' at a floating jetty in front of his Zenon enclave. The son of a former Lagos state governor sure knows how to make his monies do the talking.

Some sense for the errant

It's a humilating Sunday evening for these six chaps. Their offence was- playing street soccer on a busy Spencer road Yaba. So the 'appropriate' punishment of balancing on their toes at the adjacent street gate for nearly 45minutes is their lot. The rains came and saved their day otherwise...

Under the sun and in the rain

The human spirit is an amazing one. And the strength of a woman is worthy of emulation. On a prolonged wet and rainy friday, this woman would have none of it. 'man has to survive' she seems to be saying as she dares the rain in her bid 2make ends smooth

Mighty Lagos

Lagos is compact. The city is tight. And is the envy of other cities in Nigeria.it's a city of endless possibilities. This picture of Adetokumbo Ademola street Victoria Island is a proof to the vastness and grandeur of endless dreams

Irresponsible Skyebank

Looks like our banks do not care if the naira is battered or not. For them it's simply a case of deposit garbage in and garbage out. Skyebank Alausa simply don't care. That's the simple season they'd pay this customer a torn note and short change the customer a cool 1000 bucks. Did i hear someone say 'No Skyebank'

Why Tetmosol?

That was the question on my mind when my wife bought a pack of six tablets of Tetomosol and they were all fake. I felt horrible when last month she bought two tablets and it was same story. Really its embarrassing.
